Description

On mobile devices, opening the Settings (cog) causes the left navigation panel to expand to approximately half the screen width. There is no clear way to collapse the panel. This leaves the content area too narrow to read or use comfortably. The "Esc" button closes the settings menu entirely.

Steps to Reproduce

Open the site
Tap the Settings (cog) icon
The left navigation panel occupies roughly half the screen

Expected Behavior

The settings navigation panel should behave like a temporary drawer on mobile
It should collapse automatically after selecting an option, or provide a clear close control
The content area should remain readable and usable

Actual Behavior

The left navigation panel fills approximately half the screen
There is no visible or usable control to collapse it
The content area becomes too narrow to read
